OUR PROGRAMS
Turning Commitment Into Action
IMA’s work is rooted in empowering women, supporting communities, and creating pathways toward meaningful and lasting change.

PROGRAM 01
Community Organizing (COP)
The development of women leaders, the emergence of self-reliant and dynamic women’s organizations, micro enterprise development, and the practice of participative actions are its main thrust.
PROGRAM 02
Education & Training (ETP)
The facilitation of women’s access to alternative education and training is key to this program, aware that the empowerment of women begins with consciousness-raising on various emerging issues and skills development.

PROGRAM 03
Crisis Intervention (CIP)
The number of women and children breaking their silence, taking the long path towards their own healing from abuses, rape or family violence are its main focus.
Services may be provided by the institution itself or through other organizations with their own group of professionals for counseling, legal and medical assistance, temporary shelter, and the formation of the Survivors Support Group.
PROGRAM 04
Research, Information, Advocacy & Networking (RIAN)
Women’s issues, views and strides are brought to the surface, analyzed and utilized through dissemination to a broad segment of the population. This serves the purposes of program and project development, design of appropriate interventions, policy study and implementation, and advocacy work.
The local women’s movement cannot advance in full force without the support of advocates, networks and links. IMA works with people and organizations who, through their compassion and recognition of women’s potential, champion the advancement of women’s well-being and development.
