From Silence to Song

This Women’s Month, the IMA Foundation is honored to spotlight Taylor, a woman who turned a season of brokenness into a lifetime of mission.

Taylor is a woman of many talents and titles. In the professional world, she excels as a Freelancer and a Digital Marketing Director (Photos 5 & 6), navigating the fast-paced digital landscape with precision and creativity. But out of all the roles she plays, there are two that champion her heart above all else: being a Missionary and a Women’s Rights Champion.

The Breaking of the Silence

Taylor’s path to advocacy was paved through a valley that few truly understand. Long before she was a leader, she lived through the suffocating reality of an abusive relationship (#R.A. 9262). For years, her world was shaped by a toxic dynamic that sought to dim her light and silence her voice. She has carried the invisible scars of physical and mental battles, surviving a season where “home” was no longer a sanctuary.

The Purpose in the Pain

But survival was only the beginning. Taylor chose to take those shattered pieces and build something indestructible. While her career keeps her grounded in the digital age, her soul is anchored in her service. As a Solo Parent, she is the primary architect of her children’s future. As a Missionary and Volunteer Teacher, she travels to the edges of society to remind the forgotten that they are seen.

Now, as a volunteer for the IMA Foundation, she stands as a Women’s Rights Champion because she has been there herself. She doesn’t just speak about resilience—she lives it. She uses her history as a shield for other women, ensuring that no one has to navigate the darkness of abuse without a hand to hold.

She is still fighting. She is still serving. And today, we celebrate Taylor: a professional, a mother, and a survivor who found her true mission in the very storm that tried to break her.
